Welcome to a special oil blend we call Shiryon – Blessing Oil – a word for armor in Hebrew. We offer this special blend of oils from the land of Israel of Frankincense, Myrrh and Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a 5ml bottle. NOTE: At this time, this particular recipe is not organic, however they are 100% pure and from the land of Israel. We do plan to switch over to organic in the future for this recipe.

And, when blessing someone with special  Shiryon, we also use that to support the rescue of children from the sex trafficking trade. So Shiryon (armor) works in multiple ways. Thank you.

There is something special about blessing someone, especially a loved one and especially a little child. However, blessings are not limited to children. Blessings also apply to teens, adults and our elders

We offer Shiryon (armor) with the intention of providing someone, young or old, a memorable moment of a blessing. Each small bottle is intended to be completely poured out for the blessing of someone special. Almost all blessings in the Scriptures involve a large portion of oil. So much so, it would run down the beard.

We see a beautiful scripture here in
Psalm 133:2 – It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! Now that is a lot of oil!

Many can easily argue the amount of oil used here was as much as quart!  We will cut that back to about a teaspoon.  However, to bless someone is a special indication of your love and also help them understand that they are indeed very special. Make it clear with a enough to let it drip down a bit. When someone blessing you allows the oil to run down a bit, one can feel the love being poured out upon someone special.

And we also see in the book of John that blessing oil can be very fragrant and especially when an entire flask is used.

John 12:3 – Mary therefore took a pound [perhaps close to a quart] of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Messiah and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

We see the example of anointing throughout the Scriptures, and here are just a few of them:

  • Genesis 28:18 – So early in the morning Jacob took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up for a pillar and poured oil on the top of it.
Here is an example of blessing a ROCK because it was in a special place. Do you have a prayer rock in your garden?
  • Exodus 29:7 – You shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.
We need to pour that oil out and not only place a drop. Let the giver demonstrate great outpouring of kindness and love bestowed upon another.
  • 1 Kings 1:39 – There Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”
  • 2 Kings 9:6 – So he arose and went into the house. And the young man poured the oil on his head, saying to him, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, I anoint you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel.
  • James 5:14 – Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
  • Luke 7:46 – You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.

We see examples of anointing rocks, tents and furniture. Perhaps, we should consider our teenager’s first car AND also the teenager before driving on their own for the first time!

Exodus 40:9 – “Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture, so that it may become holy.

Each beautiful blue glass bottle is sent within a velvet pouch and a blessing Momento Card.

We need to pour that oil out and not only place a drop. Let the giver demonstrate great outpouring of kindness and love bestowed upon another.

1 Samuel 10:1 – Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head and kissed him and said, “Has not the LORD anointed you to be prince over his people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the LORD and you will save them from the hand of their surrounding enemies. And this shall be the sign to you that the LORD has anointed you to be prince over his heritage.

1 Kings 1:39 – There Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”

2 Kings 9:6 – So he arose and went into the house. And the young man poured the oil on his head, saying to him, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, I anoint you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel.

James 5:14 – Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

Luke 7:46 – You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.

Exodus 29:7 – You shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.

What is a blessing momento card?

This is a small card that, for example, a small child, can collect and remember special occasions, milestones and events in their life to provide encouragement and hope in times of trial and turmoil. We see this as an additional way families or friends can enhance relationships and carry on these special memories through life. This high-quality and beautiful card provides areas for the name, date, who is blessing, who is being blessed and a message area for for that special someone.

A hand-shake and a hug are good, but a blessing with essential oils from the land of Israel adds an extra layer of love for anyone. Do you know someone who is down, stressed, in the hospital, sick, young or old? Grab a set of bottles to have a few on hand, and provide a blessing to that special person in your life. They can keep the little bottles, the pouch and momento cards for years to come and look back on the blessings from a special someone to be reminded of answered prayers, or just to recall the extra love and attention that someone blessed them with.
